Dr. Weast’s budget, though bare bones, has the best interest of MCPS students at its heart. It will protect our jobs and the essential services we provide at MCPS.
This is an incredibly difficult budget year for the county and the state. We’re competing with many other interests for an even smaller pot of money.
Every Local 500 member will have to defend this budget as if our jobs depend on it. The stakes are that high.
