Maryland Candidates for Governor Answer Questions from Local 500 Members

The leading  candidates for governor of Maryland heeded the call when Local 500 asked them to take some questions from our members. Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, Attorney General Doug Gansler and State Delegate Heather Mizeur all attended a forum at Montgomery Blair High School on Monday, September 16.

Every candidate emphasized the key role that SEIU Local 500 will play in determining who will be the next governor.

Candidates answered a variety questions, from general topics like bridging the achievement gap in education to very specific questions about bills to improve worksite safety and tax proposals.
