Farah Shahrostambaik

Farah Shahrostambaik, an MCPS paraeducator, visited the US Capitol recently and met with members of Congress and their staff to educate them on the critical role that Head Start and other early learning programs play in educating our children.

Since she visited the Capitol, Congress has reached an agreement to reduces some of the deep cuts to critical programs, but more needs to be done to invest in education, from early childhood through college.

If you would like to get involved in advocating in Washington and Annapolis for education and other critical programs, let us know!
