Goucher Adjuncts, Allies Deliver a Petition to the College Administration – “Count the Votes”

More than two hundred contingent faculty, full-time faculty, students, alumni and community allies signed a petition asking the administration to stop prevaricating and delaying and let the National Labor Relations Board do its job and #CountTheVotes.

On Wednesday, April 22, 50 students, faculty and activists turned out to deliver the petition. Now it’s up to the administration to do the right thing let the votes be counted.

We, the undersigned, urge the Administration of Goucher College to COUNT THE VOTES NOW in the union election of undergraduate non-tenure track faculty! On December 9, 2014, the Regional Office of the National Labor Relations Board was ready to tally the votes in an election to unionize the non-tenure track faculty at Goucher College. But, Goucher is delaying the votes and disenfranchising all those who voted in the union election for undergraduate non-tenure track faculty. Please kindly sign this petition and join us in calling for a fair election process that counts all of our votes in the union election now.
