DC People’s Budget Forum – April 13

People's Budget

On April 4th, Mayor Bowser released her proposal for DC’s $13 billion budget – her decisions about how much to spend on housing, health care, jobs, support for immigrants, and more – and the DC Council has begun working on it.

Budgets are moral documents, and now more than ever, it’s critical that the DC budget reflects the needs and priorities of the families that live and work here.

Join activists from across the District in a People’s Budget Forum to make your voice heard.

We will be gathering at Excel Academy (2501 Martin Luther King Jr Ave – nearest metro: Anacostia) this Thursday, April 13. Doors open at 6 pm.
