About the SEIU MD/DC State Council
The
Service Employees State Council was officially re-organized in November
2003 with the adoption of a new Constitution to guide the
organization's growth. The State Council is made up of nearly 30,000
members in several SEIU local unions operating in Maryland and the
District of Columbia.
