As part-time faculty at MICA, we are part of SEIU Local 500, which represents faculty and staff at 11 institutions throughout our area. We know we’re stronger together, so take a few seconds now and activate your membership.

The MICA Staff Union was formed in 2022 after staff voted overwhelmingly to unionize with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 500. The successful campaign was inspired by earlier unionization efforts by MICA's adjunct faculty and driven by staff concerns over job security, stagnant wages, and working conditions.
