May 4th Day of Action Toolkit
As we prepare for our May 4th Day of Solidarity, we are asking all SEIU Local 500 members across MCPS to wear purple or other union gear including buttons and stickers. You can contact your ESR if you need to get buttons or stickers. If you need a union t-shirt, Wednesday, May 3rd between 10am and 5pm members can stop by the SEIU Local 500 office to pick one up. Supplies are limited and will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. As part of our Day of Solidarity, we are asking you and your colleagues to take pics and share on social media. Please click here to view social media kit for your convenience. We will utilize your photos and social media posts to demand the Montgomery County Council fully fund the school system to ensure we get the gain necessary to advance our contracts. Please share any photos to our online solidarity drive at the following link: https://bit.ly/SEIULocal500PicUpload
